Hey Everyone, it's Logan
Now that I'm in my last week before my second round of treatment, I'm feeling the best I've felt in a while. It's great to hear from all of you, and even to see a few of you. All of your thoughts and prayers have really lifted my spirits and are helping me through the tough patches. I'm going back to Boston this Wednesday ( 1/23/08) and might be back home Saturday or Sunday.

logaaan dunne. i wanted to pop in and send you some love from west brewster/new bedford as i'll be heading back to school soon from my winter break. i heard all about your recent struggles and i'm really proud of you for hanging in there and being strong, only to be expected from a member of the dunne-kettler fam. i feel like i haven't seen you in ages and wish i had made it to the solstice party, because i hear you are a giant now! i hope all is well and that you keep your spirits high. postive energy is the most healing kind. my mom and family send their love as well. and so do all of izzys friends, we think of you all the time. xoxo. much love and prayers.

soo, I think you should know that tomorrow, EVERYONE is planning on having at least two ice cream sundaes, because all the money raised is going into your celtics tickets. :p :) lucky kid!! :p :) hahah, hope you're doing well! sorry I missed you these past few days, I know you were hooome. :(
anyway! I'm sure a lot of the charter kids will be in touch soon to tell you about the turn out tomorrow. ;)

Hey Logan, I just wanted to say that you are probably the MOST POPULAR guy at Charter right now. Like seriously. Everyone is thinking about you, and how great you are doing right now. Beat it like you beat all the seventh graders in Rec class last year!!

when i was little, i had this beanie baby cow that i called kemo, which sounds an awful lot like chemo. & in seminar the other day.. (my seminar is doing the ice cream sundae-celtics game ticket-fananza) we were making signs that are just like "by ice cream sundaes for logan!" and things like that, and i made a little one and forgot to give it to mr.williams, so its in my room, and kemo is sitting by it. so! everything, including kemo the cow, is thinking about you. :)

I heard about your cancer a couple weeks ago. But I didn't feel like I really had any words of advice. But maybe now I do. Imagine yourself in a race. But you don't know how long it is. So you have to pace yourself. And you have to do it so that you can go a long time, but at a moment's notice turn it up to a full sprint for a little while.
If people thinking positive thoughts can do anything for you, you have some more coming from me. Maybe this is up to you and the doctors and the pharmaceutical companies. It's tough to say. But tomorrow I'm going to go for a paddle, and I'll think of you when I'm furthest from shore.

Two years ago, I had some wonderful visitors from the Cape in Buffalo, NY. You, Sumner, Kristina and your mom stayed with us for the night. It was such a wonderful surprise. I just heard about your illness and send you hope, love and support. You will pull through this! My best to mom and clemmie, too. xoxo
